Company Profile

Established in 2007, SeaTec Communications supply navigation, communication, and entertainment equipment and systems to the Maritime industry including the Commercial, Cruise, Ferry and Yacht sectors. SeaTec Communications also provide a full support package including installation, the provision of spares and project management services for vessel upgrades and refits. Maritime VSAT and other mobile communications services, both equipment and airtime provision, complement this portfolio of capabilities. SeaTec Communications have offices in Southampton, Glasgow, Monaco, Chennai, Rotterdam, Singapore and Shanghai and work with industry partners globally to facilitate the delivery of our products and services worldwide.

SeaTec Communications has three principal business lines in the shipping field: 

  • Technical service, installation and maintenance of equipment in all ports of the world and in shipyardsfor installation of equipment on new buildings. The technical service is carried out directly through a large network of qualified engineers supported in those countries where we operate directly by suitable warehouses for the stocking of spare parts and through a cooperation network with over 200 selected companies operating in over 1000 ports worldwide. Many of these activities are handled commercially through an integrated and flexible contract scheme with different levels of insurance for an all-inclusive full maintenance service. 
  • Sale of communications, navigation and entertainment equipment for ships, 
  • Management and handling of on-board airtime services (Inmarsat, VSAT, Iridium, MF/HF, VHF etc.)including all the required operator licenses. Provision of entertainment content such as movies and TV programming is also available. 

 Recently, SeaTec Communications has been intensively involved in expanding its business in different areas of the globe where maritime traffic is particularly concentrated, pursuing its need to operate closer to its customers in each phase of the business processes involved in its offering scheme.

SeaTec Communications provides its customers with integrated maintenance solutions that streamline management, ensuring problem prevention, technical assistance and expenditure control.

 Ships employ a vast array of systems and equipment for communication, navigation and safety, an effective and integrated management of these systems is vital to ensure risks, delays and associated costs are kept to a minimum.
